Rivers Edge Elementary School

Congratulations to REES Alum, Taran, who took the title at the 52nd Annual Richmond Regional Spelling Bee last week. Taran "graduated" from Rivers Edge and is currently an 8th grader at Moody Middle School. He outlasted 27 spellers from around Central Virginia and received a $1,500 scholarship along with his championship trophy. Most importantly, he now advances to the Scripps National Spelling Bee to compete against the best student spellers across the country.
