🏅📏 Math in Action Across Our School! 📊✨

There is SO much exciting math happening in our classrooms!

👟 Kindergarten Mathematicians at Work!
Our youngest learners are busy practicing and showing what they know about measurement, part-part-whole, counting to 100, and patterns! From building number sense to spotting patterns all around them, these students are laying strong math foundations in fun and hands-on ways. We love seeing their confidence grow! 💛🔢

🥇 Third Grade Goes for the Gold!
Third graders took math to the next level with Olympic-themed math stations! Students estimated and measured using different units (inches, feet, yards, centimeters, and meters) and worked hard to choose the most appropriate unit for each task. All of their results were carefully recorded on measurement charts.

  • Cotton Ball Shot Put - measuring the distance they could toss a cotton ball

  • Straw Javelin Throw - measuring the distance they could throw their straw javelin

  • Masking Tape High Jump - measuring how far up on the wall they could stick a tape ball

  • Long Jump - measuring how far they could jump from a standing position

  • Hot Wheels Race - measuring how far their Hot Wheels car could travel when released on a ramp

🧠 Math Club & Math 24 Team in Action!
Our Math Club and Math 24 students are stretching their brains by finding multiple ways to make 24 using different numbers and operations. The problem-solving, perseverance, and creative thinking on display are truly impressive! 💡➕➖✖️➗

We are so proud of our mathematicians at every grade level. 🌟
